Accomodation Derby Tasmania Trouty Cottage and Studio

Blue Derby

If you’re a rider you haven’t come to Derby to smoke a pipe in your slippers! The famous Blue Derby trail network is on your doorstep… 85km of artfully constructed single track on arguably the best MTB dirt around. Green, Blue, single and double Black riding is all available including flow, jump, gnar, climbing and just beautiful scenic pedalling. So if you want to challenge your MTB skills or start to ride single track as a novice then Blue Derby is the place for you. There are multiple uplift providers so you can skip the climbing if you want and re-run and perfect your lines on your favourite descending trail over and over again. The signage at the Trailhead provides some loop options if you’re new to the trails and also remember there is a Blue Derby trail map in Trouty Cottage and Trouty Studio to put together your runs for the day.

It doesn't end with the fantastic Blue Derby trail network though, there are other riding opportunities to mix it up if you want.
