Things to know

On Arrival

• Check-in from 3pm
• Self Check-In with keypad
• No bikes inside – secure bike storage is provided

During your stay

• Please remove all shoes before entering Trouty Cottage and Trouty Studio. (It’s OK to wear shoes and riding shoes in the enclosed veranda of Trouty Cottage and the landing of Trouty Studio).
• Absolutely no smoking inside Trouty Cottage or Trouty Studio.
• Entertaining friends is OK but absolutely no parties allowed and no excessive noise after 10pm.
• If your riding gear is really dirty please rinse with the garden hose or soak in tubs provided prior to putting in the washing machine . The washing machine in the bike shed is for dirty riding gear that has been rinsed.
• Please turn off heaters, lights and other appliances when you head out for the day or the evening. The heat pumps are efficient heaters which will warm the space up quickly when you return.
• There is a parking space at the top of the driveway but please be aware not to block in any vehicles down the driveway.
• Take care with the wood heater in Trouty Cottage. Surrounding floors and rugs can be easily damaged.

On Departure

• Check out by 10am
• Wash and put away dishes and leave house tidy
• Put rubbish into the appropriate bins (yellow lid = recycling; blue lid = rubbish)
• Clean BBQ if you used it

• 50% deposit required to secure booking
• Balance required 30 days prior to check in date
• We reserve the right to charge a $700 fee to cover the excess for property damages.
• We reserve the right to charge an excess cleaning fee of $250 if the property is left in an unsatisfactory state.
• Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival, less $100 admin fee
• Cancellation between 30 and 7 days prior to arrival, 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival, no refund
